Lapland Artists Association and Kulttuuriyhdistys Valsa ry will jointly organize a large contemporary art exhibition at Äkäslompolo, Galleria Kellokkaase in the spring of 2022. 67 works linked to the north were selected for the exhibition through an open call to challenge the stereotype of northern art. The exhibition, which is organized during the ski season, serves both the tourists of the north and the artists: The cooperation between the clubs brings the artists into the scope of interest control, and the location of the exhibition brings the art close to the tourists.
