In spring 2022, the Lapland Artists Association and Kulttuuriyhdistys Valsa ry hosted a contemporary art exhibition at Galleria Kellokkaase in Äkäslompolo, featuring 67 selected works to redefine northern art. The event, held during the ski season, engaged both tourists and artists, enhancing the visibility of local art.
