Both experiments test the role of a woman and its depiction as part of the historical continuum, and look for new ways and meanings for depicting a woman's role and body.
The author has focused on photographing female portraits, capturing women in daily activities such as sewing and caring for children. Their work, displayed at the Global Mix exhibition in 2014, highlights the beauty and complexity of women’s lives in Namibia. This exploration of identity culminated in a series of self-portraits in 2016.
